Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Operative to join our team at Proman. As a Quality Control Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the assembly of manufactured fittings
  • Conduct product rework to ensure work is done to customer specification
  • Perform electrical, photometric, mechanical, and physical tests and inspections of delivery, production, and supplier samples
  • Follow through test and inspection failures with the QC Team Leader to ensure additional test samples are acquired and appropriate resolution is applied
  • Complete all works orders, accommodating any urgent requirements
  • Ensure all assembly jobs are completed ready for despatch by their assigned despatch date
  • Ensure all Container shipment products have all applicable photometric, safety, and regulatory tests and inspections completed within 5 days of the container being unloaded
  • Ensure all LCL shipment products have all applicable photometric, safety, and regulatory tests and inspections completed within 2 days of the shipment being unloaded

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
