We are seeking an ambitious Occupational Therapist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for establishing and developing our therapy services to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment programmes with a multi-disciplinary team
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the OT service
- Lead by example to inspire and motivate Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Ideally, you will have experience in the mental health environment and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to effectively control budgets, utilise resources, and provide statistical returns on the service as requested.
