Job Title: Tax Compliance Manager

At Mercer & Hole, we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax practice, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing expert advice on tax planning and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and finalize company tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
  • Prepare and submit income tax computations and returns for sole traders and partnerships
  • Manage the corporate and personal compliance process, including client communications and ad hoc queries
  • Develop and train junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience working within a tax practice
  • Good understanding of corporate and personal tax legislation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in tax software packages, including Alphatax, CCH Audit Automation, and CCH Personal Tax
