About the Role
As a pivotal member of our New Business Sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging new clients for our services. You will lead a dedicated team of Business Development Executives, reporting directly to the Head of New Business.
Your Responsibilities Include:
• Developing and managing lead generation strategies in collaboration with senior management.
• Identifying and qualifying high-potential leads within target sectors, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities.
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to optimize the use of CRM software.
• Conducting outreach to convert leads into viable opportunities, including arranging and following up on appointments.
• Building and nurturing strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Maintaining accurate records in the CRM database and ensuring its relevance.
• Assisting in the planning and promotion of industry events to connect with potential clients.
• Utilizing social media platforms to enhance company visibility and outreach.
• Fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Participating in sales meetings to share insights and report on performance metrics.
• Continuously expanding your knowledge of our services and market trends.
• Leading and developing your team through regular feedback, training, and performance reviews.
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members.
What You Bring:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the energy sector.
• A background in sales or energy consultancy.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in basic office software.
• Confidence in engaging with clients over the phone and in person.
