Join Our Intellectual Property Team in London

Position Overview
We are looking for a junior attorney to join our dynamic IP transactional team. This role focuses on non-contentious intellectual property transactions, encompassing mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, technology transfers, and IP-driven collaborations. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in these fields and a strong passion for innovation and technology.

Team Highlights
The London IP team at Herbert Smith Freehills is distinguished for its proficiency in Intellectual Property matters. Collaborating closely with the corporate division, we manage a diverse array of IP-centric transactions across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer intellectual property guidance on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and licensing agreements
  • Draft and negotiate intellectual property contracts and collaborative agreements
  • Contribute to the development of the IP transactional practice and support firm-wide initiatives
  • Cultivate enduring client relationships and provide outstanding client service
  • Engage in software, data, and technology solution licensing for international clients

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified attorney with a background in IP transactions
  • Strong legal competencies including drafting, negotiation, and project management
  • Genuine enthusiasm for innovation, technology, and branding
