Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Buyer to play a pivotal role within a prestigious manufacturing organization. This position focuses on optimizing procurement processes and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement strategic sourcing plans for various commodities including Wood, Resin, Stainless Steel, Electronics, Fasteners, and Engines.
  • Analyze market dynamics to inform and adjust procurement strategies effectively.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Foster innovation and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align procurement initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Mitigate risks and incorporate quality assurance into procurement processes.

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating for relevant commodities.
  • Expertise in managing supplier relationships and minimizing supply chain risks.
  • Knowledgeable in BOM purchasing or project-based procurement.
