About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Buying Assistant to join our team. As a Buying Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Product Development: Regularly sampling new products to enhance our current range and develop new and exciting plans for each season.
  • Presentations: Creating presentations of new products to our Directors and stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensuring smooth running of new deliveries, sourcing and developing styles from the Middle East, and building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring there is enough stock and checking the quality and price of all stock.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conducting weekly competitor analysis to ensure we are inline with price, style, and quality.
  • Support: Providing support to the Buying Director and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year of experience in Buying or Merchandising, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Education: A degree in Buying or Merchandising is desirable.
  • Skills: A good eye for fashion trends, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
