Position: Senior Electrical Project Coordinator

A leading design and construction M&E contractor is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Project Coordinator to join their team in Luton, primarily overseeing projects across the Home Counties with occasional assignments in London.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing office within a well-respected M&E organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Implement effective planning strategies to guarantee project profitability.
  • Manage materials, subcontractors, installation processes, procurement, and drawing schedules in line with installation and specification standards.
  • Supervise labor and subcontractors throughout the installation phase, ensuring adherence to specifications and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Time Served Apprenticeship or possession of relevant Electrical qualifications.
  • Experience working for a Building Services Contractor at a comparable level.
  • Strong planning and project management capabilities.
  • Proven experience on large-scale new build projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various electrical systems and their installation techniques.
  • Track record of achieving favorable financial outcomes on projects, considering all pertinent factors.
  • Excellent people management and motivational skills.
  • Possession of a valid SMSTS certification.

Compensation: £52,000 - £65,000, commensurate with experience

Benefits:

  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days.
