Job Summary:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the preparation and cooking of food to enhance the company's reputation for quality.
  • Prepare high-quality food for our guests quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Responsibility for ordering and stock controls, reduction of waste.
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations in a proactive and hands-on way.
  • Lead and mentor the team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Follow allergen laws and respect dietary requirements.
  • Create rotas and cleaning schedules for kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Excellent culinary and presentation skills.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role and establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion to do a great job.
  • Manage staff in a calm, inspirational manner.
  • Manage stock with minimal wastage.
  • Understanding of profit margins and food stock controls.
