Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate current manufacturing processes and methodologies.
  • Focus on production efficiency, waste reduction, quality assurance, safety standards, and meeting delivery schedules.
  • Maintain existing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Propose new machinery and equipment as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and operational manuals.
  • Contribute to plant layout designs to enhance material flow.
  • Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives on-site.
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a similar engineering role, such as Production Engineer.
  • Proficiency in relevant methodologies and tools, including single-piece flow, Kanban, and lean manufacturing.
  • A solid understanding of contemporary manufacturing practices.
  • A relevant educational background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering (HND/HNC).
