Job Title: Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our client's Software Engineering team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and supporting their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain software systems, ensuring high-quality and efficient code.
  • Test and validate software functionality to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software engineering and team leadership, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent technical skills in C# and C++, with experience in object-oriented design and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the aerospace and defence sector.
