The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our ESG Book team in London. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving growth across the UK region and other opportunistic regions, from business development to executing sales. You will collaborate closely with our Research and Product teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the sales strategy, growing, and building out our presence across the UK region and other European markets.
  • Represent ESG Book when reaching out to banks, other financial institutions, corporates, etc. to pitch our offering.
  • Support the education of our clients on Sustainability/ESG and the data & products accessible through ESG Book.
  • Develop, drive, and deliver plans and strategies for achieving company's sales goals.
  • Create and review supporting materials for external and internal purposes (e.g., project presentations, marketing material).
  • Manage relationships with existing clients and act as a point of contact to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Assess market intelligence and feedback to ensure ESG Book's offer is aligned with client's demands.
Requirements
  • Passionate about sustainability with a motivation to influence and advance industry standards.
  • Client-focused mindset with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of prestigious financial institutions.
  • At least 5 years (Associated Director) / 7 years (Sales Director) of sales experience directly targeting financial institutions, preferably in roles focused on sustainability or financial data solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in a leading regional role for large-scale institutional sales with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to independently manage your schedule and lead initiatives as an 'entrepreneur' within our team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
