We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at ivolve Care & Support. As a Nurse Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to our service users, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Service User Assessment and Care Planning
Conduct thorough assessments of service users' physical, psychological, and social needs, developing personalized care plans that take into account their lifestyle, gender, and background.
Care Delivery and EvaluationPlan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with service users' needs, ensuring that care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate.
Team Leadership and SupervisionLead a multi-disciplinary shift team, supervising staff in all respects, including orientation, appraisal, training, and development of care staff.
Medication Management and SafetyEnsure the safe ordering, custody, storing, disposing, and administration of all medication, adhering to company standards and NMC Code of Conduct.
Stock Management and OrderingManage stocks of all supplies effectively and economically, ensuring timely replenishment.
Continuous Improvement and DevelopmentProactively develop professional and clinical skills, contributing to the development of new ideas in nursing and social care to improve service users' quality of life.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven leadership skills and abilities
- Experience of working with families, carers, and significant others
- Ability to carry out under supervision pre-admission assessments
- Knowledge of mental health and community care legislation and policy
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, approachability, politeness, flexibility, excellent communication skills, manual dexterity, and good IT skills
- Ability to plan and prioritize own and others' workload
- Relevant professionally registerable qualification as a Registered Nurse
- Current registration with the relevant professional body (NMC)
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience of supervision and appraisal
