Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Trader to join our dynamic team. As an E-Commerce Trader, you will be responsible for building on our momentum with market share, sales, and profit gains across our biggest categories. You will have the opportunity to unlock additional brand and selection opportunities, alongside creating marketing packages that increase brand visibility in the eCommerce landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and track sales in EPOS data
  • Monitor stock in trade alongside providing demand forecasts to the brands procurement teams
  • Continually seek to improve the online and interactive experiences of the consumer on retailer websites
  • Share brand knowledge with the retailer to pitch and launch additional assortment and marketing opportunities
  • Work with marketing and content teams to deliver on-time brand and product launches
  • Support your manager to build and negotiate commercial agreements and marketing placements
  • Analyse business performance and make suggestions to deliver opportunity or offset risk
  • Willingness for business travel to meet with the customer face-to-face

Requirements:

  • 3 years of direct and hands-on sales, category experience, trade/shopper marketing experience preferably in eCommerce providing solutions in a large, international company in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), FMCG or consumer durables industry
  • Knowledge of eCommerce product flow and web store performance optimisation
  • Experience analysing EPOS, and market data and assisting with budgeting, cost estimating, managing, and optimizing online marketing tactics with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate ROI
  • Understands or has had access to P&L or financial KPIs
  • Can evidence data-driven decision making
  • Strong Excel capabilities
