The Physiotherapy Department at NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to fulfill the role of Physiotherapy Technical Support Worker. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in delivering practical therapeutic assistance to Physiotherapists within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support to physiotherapy professionals in various therapeutic settings.
  • Engage with patients, particularly older adults, ensuring their comfort and safety during therapy sessions.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety while assisting in therapeutic activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a solid educational background, with a formal qualification in a relevant field equivalent to NVQ3 level. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is mandatory, along with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with elderly populations. Candidates must also be in excellent health and physically capable, holding a valid UK driving license. Proficiency in computer skills is essential for this role.

Furthermore, the successful applicant will need to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). Please note that this position does not offer relocation expenses.
