Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our client, a family-run Commercial and Industrial Heating Company that specializes in the food process sector and bakery industry. They also work with factories, offices, and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Servicing, fault finding, repairs, and installing various types of gas burners, gas pipework, and associated gas equipment/controls.
  2. Planned preventative maintenance works.
  3. Complete written reports to ensure traceability.
  4. Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
  5. Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.
  6. Be a part of the call out rota.

Requirements

  1. Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications.
  2. Electrical qualifications/experience would be beneficial.
  3. Experience in the industrial food process sector would be beneficial.
  4. Good communication and customer service skills.
  5. The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  6. An eye for detail and a desire to work to a very high standard.
  7. Full UK Driving License.

Benefits

This is a permanent role, covering Nottingham, paying £40k - £45k per annum with OTE of £65k. Perks include van & fuel card (personal use allowed), door to door travel paid at overtime rates, annual bonus, on-call with standby payment, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, sick pay scheme, pension, death in service insurance, company phone & tablet.

Working Hours

This role is working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. There may be occasions where you will be required to work away from time to time.
