Job Summary:

Dignity is seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Funeral Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to bereaved families and ensuring that funerals are conducted with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of responsibilities, including branch administration, funeral arrangements, care of the deceased, and community outreach.
  • Operate as part of the on-call rota, taking first calls and mobilizing ambulance teams to bring the deceased into our care.
  • Lead on funerals conducted by the Brand, including route planning, coordinating Funeral Operatives, and overseeing final checks.
  • Work closely with clients to arrange funerals, planning personalized details and offering a range of services and products to meet their needs.
  • Engage with the local community through events hosted by our Brand, fostering meaningful connections and demonstrating our commitment to compassionate service.

Requirements:

  • Holds a Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Exhibits exceptional communication and administrative abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Displays emotional intelligence and a genuine dedication to delivering empathetic customer care in sensitive situations.
  • Proactively supports colleagues, offering confident guidance and fostering a culture of shared success.
  • Upholds a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and personal presentation, striving for excellence in individual performance and team outcomes.
