JOB SUMMARY

As a Logistics Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the Wellsite Services team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Warehouse Supervisor in the secure receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, goods, and products essential for business operations and customer satisfaction. You will be expected to familiarize yourself with the company's warehousing policies and procedures. Your expertise in warehouse operations will be vital, as will your commitment to providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive deliveries of goods and supplies.
  • Inspect for any damaged or missing items.
  • Organize and store goods efficiently.
  • Prepare and pack orders for shipment.
  • Transport stock using manual handling, lifting equipment, or forklifts.
  • Load goods for shipment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines according to operational standards.
  • Record stock and inventory data in the ERP System.
  • Maintain accurate stock records.
  • Conduct stock counts as necessary.
  • Keep documentation current.
  • Follow manual handling procedures for lifting and moving products.
  • Operate safely in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to protect yourself and others.
  • Handle hazardous materials appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Propose improvements to enhance efficiency and add value.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid forklift truck license (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling and COSHH Awareness (Desirable)
EXPERIENCE:

Familiarity with working in a fast-paced Warehouse Department (Desirable)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written (Essential)
  • Experience with ERP Systems such as JDE (Desirable)
