Position Overview

Ingenii Search is collaborating with a progressive organization in search of a driven and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist. This role is integral to a newly established team, focusing on supporting the financing and trading operations. As a key player, you will ensure the seamless execution of operations, encompassing trade processing, settlements, and payment transactions. Your expertise in technical operations, particularly with SWIFT, alongside a solid grasp of financial markets, will be vital for excelling in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete trade lifecycle, which includes trade entry, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage and execute settlement activities for a variety of financial products, ensuring prompt and precise settlements.
  • Facilitate both domestic and international payment processes utilizing SWIFT and other payment platforms, while complying with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and dispatch SWIFT messages (MT types) for diverse transactions, such as payments, confirmations, and instructions.
  • Reconcile trade, position, and cash information with internal databases and counterparties to detect and rectify discrepancies.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries and operational challenges.
  • Identify and address operational risks, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance current systems and adopt new technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operations within an asset management or financial services environment.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Strong command of SWIFT messaging and payment processing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with trade order management systems (OMS) and portfolio accounting systems.
