Our organization is a leading multi-charity retailer, dedicated to selling cards and gifts on behalf of numerous charitable organizations. Over the past decade, we have successfully raised significant funds for various charities, contributing to their vital missions.
Role Overview:
This position plays a crucial role in supporting a network of temporary retail outlets, particularly during peak seasons. The primary objective is to enhance revenue generation for participating charities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior management to establish and oversee a network of seasonal retail locations.
2. Provide leadership and support to shop teams within the assigned area to optimize sales and revenue.
3. Coordinate logistics for the delivery of initial stock and shop equipment, ensuring efficient operations.
4. Identify staffing needs for both paid positions and volunteers, working closely with local networks to initiate recruitment efforts.
5. Maintain accurate and timely information across all retail operations.
6. Foster effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
7. Analyze sales performance data and implement strategies to enhance revenue.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in area or cluster management within customer-facing environments.
- Strong ability to work independently while adhering to established commercial frameworks.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.
- A solid understanding of the retail sector, preferably within a charitable context.
