About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Functional Development Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the derivation and development of system-level requirements for our AVC System.

Your primary responsibilities will include planning and executing model configuration management activities, liaising with stakeholders and other teams, and ensuring effective leadership of configuration management. You will also contribute to the development of model-based systems engineering and configuration management of functional development team models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute model configuration management activities
  • Liaise with stakeholders and other teams to ensure effective collaboration
  • Lead configuration management activities and ensure effective leadership
  • Contribute to the development of model-based systems engineering
  • Support the development of improved ways of working and processes
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or significant experience in a related engineering discipline
  • Experience using MathWorks toolsets, including MATLAB and Simulink
  • Experience in a configuration management role and virtual testing environment is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to support interfaces across functional workstreams and customers
