QC Analytical Scientist

X4 Life Sciences is collaborating with a pioneering Cell and Gene company to find a highly skilled QC Analytical Scientist to join their London-based team.
Key Responsibilities:- Test gene therapy products in accordance with product specifications to ensure timely completion within the production schedule.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and suitability for use in alignment with the test schedule.
- Record out-of-specifications, non-conformances, investigations, analysis, and implementation of corrective actions as applicable.
- Participate in the Quality Control team, maintaining information flow and ensuring appropriate communications are passed and information folders are up-to-date.
- Maintain QC facilities to meet GMP requirements, conduct necessary checks to support health authority, customer, or stakeholder site visits.
- Support external or internal audits as required.
- Degree in Human Health or Sciences or equivalent relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of a GMP environment and quality control within a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
- Proficiency in a body of information required for the job, including knowledge of EU and FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
