Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Support Worker to join our team at Downs House. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control procedures and reporting any concerns or incidents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar care environment, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • High standards of care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.10, with opportunities for annual review.
  • A weekend enhanced rate of £12.60 per hour for any hours worked on Saturday or Sunday.
  • 202 hours annual leave per year, including Bank holidays (pro-rata).
