About the Role

Your new role involves overseeing the management of the regional property portfolio of the charity. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Real Estate, you will have practical knowledge and experience of preparing asset valuations, advising on property matters, and managing a diverse property portfolio with over 3,000 assets. You will be responsible for bringing forward disposal programs of surplus assets and acquiring assets for the delivery of the charity's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage external consultants as needed
  • Work as part of a team to develop professional skills and experience
  • Develop and implement asset management initiatives
  • Provide detailed interpretation of deeds and advice related to property ownership and tenure
  • Liaise with local planners to protect the interests of the client and assets
  • Prepare clear board reports and present to Boards
Requirements
  • Qualification at degree level and membership of an appropriate professional organization
  • Widespread asset management and transactional experience
  • Good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle large and varied workloads
  • Current driving license
