Role Overview

The Asset Associate will support the Director of Portfolio Management in managing a large portfolio of logistic properties across Europe. Key responsibilities include coordinating deliverables with regional asset management teams, fund level modelling and forecasting, annual budgeting, reporting, and presenting quarterly fund performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and refine monthly and quarterly reporting processes to produce operational metrics, variance reporting, cash forecasting, capital management, lease pipeline review, and asset management fee calculations.
  • Produce and update presentations targeted at senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and work with a team of two analysts to oversee their work responsibilities.
  • Perform in-depth quarterly, forward-looking, valuation models to assess the future performance of the portfolios.
  • Develop relationships with regional Analysts and Asset Managers, and participate in leasing meetings to become familiar with all aspects of portfolio properties.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed to further understand the portfolio, assets, and markets.
  • Review investment committee papers and assist the regional teams in accurately presenting their business case.
  • Assist in the development of group level dashboards to provide insights on the portfolio risks and performance.
Requirements
  • Experience in finance or commercial real estate.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with excellent knowledge and mastery of Excel.
  • Ability to construct basic real estate forecasting models quickly, accurately, and in a presentable format.
  • Strong interest in portfolio and property-level asset management decision making and capital allocation strategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak to a range of seniorities and stakeholders.
  • A strong work ethic with a keen focus on detail, the strength to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment, and an ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • European language skills within Logicor's geographical area is desirable, but not essential.
