About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Vice Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team at The Lowry Academy. As a strategic leader, you will play a key role in shaping the school's vision and driving improvement in student behaviour and attitudes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on students' behaviour, attitudes, and safeguarding, working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and attendance, including the development of behaviour policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour and attendance initiatives, making recommendations for improvement.
- Work with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Lead on the development of the school's Behaviour Policy, ensuring it is consistent with the school's values and vision.
- Represent the school at Behaviour and Attendance Partnership meetings, working with other schools and agencies to share best practice and improve outcomes for students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in behaviour and attendance initiatives.
- Lead on the development of staff professional development and INSET related to students' behaviour and attitudes.
- Be responsible for a delegated budget in relation to students' behaviour and attitudes.
