About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Engineer to join our team in the South East of England. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our range of analytical instrumentation to customers in the materials characterisation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing customer relationships and generate new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of our equipment.
  • Participate in conferences and exhibitions to promote our products and build relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop marketing communications and campaigns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years' experience in selling analytical instruments into a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petro/chemical, and academia.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD-level scientists, and technicians.
  • Availability to travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas for training and business meetings.
