Deputy Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Holistic Support Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our Ofsted Registered Children's home Service in the Southport area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement effective staff rotas and manage staff cover when needed
* Prepare and coordinate care plans and risk assessments
* Chair staff meetings and hold staff supervisions and appraisals
* Take on support shifts when required and manage medication
* Handle petty cash and manage budgets
* Work alongside senior staff to provide Person-Centred support plans for individuals
* Participate in training and be responsible for own development
* Carry out regular audits of files within the home

**Requirements:**

* 3 years of experience working with Children or Young People within a residential environment, including 2 years at a senior level
* Knowledge of Ofsted Regulations
* Minimum of a Level 4 Diploma in Children's Residential Services or working towards
* Full UK Driving License
