We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Holistic Support Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily running of our Ofsted Registered Children\u2019s home service in the Southport area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Devising and managing staff rotas, ensuring adequate cover at all times.
  • Preparing and coordinating care plans and risk assessments to ensure the well-being of our residents.
  • Chairing staff meetings to discuss important issues and ensure effective communication.
  • Holding regular staff supervisions and appraisals to support staff development.
  • Participating in on-call rotas and taking out-of-hours calls as required.
  • Managing medication and handling petty cash and budgets.
  • Working closely with senior staff to develop Person-Centred support plans for our residents.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Conducting regular audits of files to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
  • 3 years\u2019 experience working with children or young people in a residential environment, with 2 years at a senior level.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted Regulations and a minimum of a Level 4 Diploma in Children\u2019s Residential Services or working towards.
  • A Full UK Driving License is required.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotas and take out-of-hours calls as required.
