We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our supportive and nurturing team at Polaris Community. As a SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching all allocated areas of the primary curriculum to a small bespoke class group of up to 6 pupils, with the support of a Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote pupil engagement and learning
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
  • Ensure all school policies and procedures are adhered to in line with the school values
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Successful SEN teaching experience
  • A good knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every student
