Care Companion

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our visiting care team in Reading as a Care Companion. As a Care Companion, you will be visiting clients in their own homes, providing personalized care and support to enable them to live independently and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients with their personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication and provide light housekeeping services
- Prepare healthy meals and assist with daily living tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Offer specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, and stroke
- Previous professional care experience
- Household management skills, including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Ability to work effectively within allocated time frames
- Reliable and punctual
- IT skills, including the use of computers and online systems
- Competitive pay rate of £13.50 per hour, plus paid travel time and expenses
- Guaranteed minimum hours contract, with options for up to 25 hours per week
