Job Title: Desktop Services Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Services Engineer to join our team in Glasgow. As a Desktop Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support to our users, ensuring that incidents and service requests are responded to promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues with desktop hardware and software
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
Requirements:
  • Recognized qualification in an IT-related discipline
  • Previous experience in providing high-quality desktop support
  • Experience with corporate office systems, including Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and printers
  • Understanding of laptop and desktop hardware maintenance
  • Good understanding of IT management controls, processes, and procedures
