Working Schedule

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Logistics Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Best Food Logistics. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to optimize transportation networks, ensure timely deliveries, minimize congestion, and improve overall mobility. Your focus will be on maximizing vehicle capacity and utilization based on availability.
As our next Logistics Transport Coordinator, you should be highly driven, well-organized, and possess a proactive attitude, along with a solid foundation in Transport & Logistics planning within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
Collaborating with the Operations teams, you will conduct daily route planning activities to enhance service quality and efficiency at the Distribution Centers.
- Implementing route modifications, supporting the comprehensive re-planning process, and emphasizing continuous improvement by analyzing daily route performance to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Conducting a thorough review of live routes against actual ordered volumes each day, allowing for necessary adjustments to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered punctually.
- Prioritizing service quality, Transport Coordinators must plan routes in compliance with legal and agreed business parameters, aiming for on-time performance with delivery targets exceeding 92%, while maintaining high vehicle efficiency.
- Reliability and adaptability are crucial in this diverse role.
- Exhibiting an accurate and methodical approach to your responsibilities.
- Being well-organized and self-motivated, with the capability to work independently when required.
- Demonstrating proficient MS Excel skills, preferably at an intermediate level.
- Communicating confidently and presenting work clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable working under strict deadlines while remaining accountable for your tasks.
- Building strong working relationships and contributing to a small, dedicated team is essential, along with a willingness to engage and help resolve challenges.
