This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Highways Engineer to join our team at RGB Network in Central London. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing diverse and challenging projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver high-quality results.

Job Overview:

  • Position: Principal Highways Engineer
  • Location: Central London
  • Salary: £48,000- £60,000 - Depending On Experience
  • Company/Team Size: 300+ employees and 20 people in the infrastructure/Highways team
  • Projects: Residential, commercial, industrial, schools, hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Principal Highways Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading multidisciplinary projects from conception to technical approval
  • Managing client relationships and collaborating with contractors, design teams, local authorities, and statutory bodies
  • Supervising and coordinating project teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Designing and specifying drainage, earthworks, highways, and utilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Strong technical and leadership skills in highways and civil engineering design
  • Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage (or equivalent software)
  • Proven experience leading projects across various sectors
