About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Heritage and Social Housing projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from set-up to handover and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from set-up to handover and evaluation, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
  • Help deliver project estimates and valuations, working closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Manage and ensure the team is complying with project specifications, including health and safety protocols.
  • Track and report progress at weekly client update meetings, providing clear and concise updates on project status.
  • Plan and manage resources, including materials, labour, and sub-contractors, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Liaise with the Site Safety Officer to ensure all health and safety standards are maintained, and that the site is a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with clients to develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure project success.
  • Manage and maintain all health and safety requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Ability to travel to sites as required, with a valid driver's license.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Self-motivated personality, with a strong attention to detail and a right-first-time attitude.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • SMSTS and CSCS certifications, or equivalent.
