About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative and Imaging Support Officer. This role will provide critical support to our Radiology Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Scheduling and Booking Appointments: Utilize the Radiology Information System to schedule and book appointments, ensuring that patient information is accurately recorded and that appointments are given within agreed target times.
  2. Patient Registration and Preparation: Ensure that patients are accurately registered on the radiology computer system, and that all required information is available for their attendance.
  3. Importing and Exporting Images: Import and export radiology imaging using the PACS and other associated systems, ensuring that images are accurately recorded and stored.
  4. Clerical Support: Provide a range of clerical duties, including data entry, document management, and communication with patients and staff.
  5. Communication and Liaison: Develop and maintain effective communication links between Radiology and other departments throughout the Trust, ensuring that information is shared and that services are delivered efficiently.
  6. Training and Development: Contribute to the training of new members of staff within the department, as required, and participate in the Trust's mandatory training.
Requirements
