Electrical Engineer for Solar Projects

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded new market entrant as they seek to build private wire and PPA C&I solar projects across the UK. With significant financial backing to install, own, and operate PV projects on-site and nearby, they need the support of an electrical engineer to conduct initial preparatory work, oversee the design process, and support projects through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed site surveys to assess feasibility for solar installations.
  • Oversee an offshore design team to design solutions tailored to the sites.
  • Manage and finalise project terms, ensuring contractual elements align with company standards.

A degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification is required. This is a remote position with travel across the UK to attend site visits and to meet with clients.
