The Institutional Outsourcing team at SS&C Financial Services is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to support their Wealth Management clients. This position will be based in our Central London office.
This team provides back office operations, accounting, performance, and reporting support to Asset Management, Insurance, Wealth Management, and Alternative Fund clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing daily and monthly tasks related to the trade and investment lifecycle of a wealth management client.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the team with the monitoring and processing of corporate actions, trade settlements, reconciliations, client reporting, securities pricing, account maintenance, and daily controls.
- Monitoring and management of issues related to investment and trade lifecycle across multiple markets.
- Assisting with the daily monitoring, instructing, and processing of corporate actions, through the full life cycle.
- Daily reconciliation of investment portfolios versus custodian banks.
- Verify and maintain security and portfolio, static and dynamic data.
- Addressing ad hoc inquiries from the client/custodian banks, including wealth-related topics, trade support, and reporting.
Requirements:
- 3 years of previous investment operations experience within Middle Office or Back Office, preferably within the Wealth Management, Investment Management, or Operations Outsourcing Industry.
- 2 years of previous experience with investment corporate action event life-cycle.
- Experience working in a time-sensitive investment operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of a range of asset classes, such as Equity, Fixed Income, Collectives, and Derivatives.
- Investment life cycle knowledge.
- Knowledge of SQL database queries would be beneficial.
