Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary project team in the overall system design, architecture, and deliverables
  • Interact with clients to plan projects, identify and formalise design requirements, and hand over finished designs
  • Design high-quality and robust systems for client projects at all stages from feasibility through to manufacture
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, and electronics engineers to understand and drive system requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in product development in medical or other regulated environments, including requirements management and risk assessment
  • Hands-on design experience of complex systems, particularly in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Technical leadership experience in project teams
  • Excellent academic track record with a degree or postgraduate qualification in computer science, general engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related subject

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Sagentia, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, from medical to industrial and consumer. You will be part of a talented and collaborative cross-disciplinary team, bringing together electronics, mechanical, and software design expertise to deliver world-class devices and platforms to our clients.

Our projects vary in length, from a few months to several years, and offer a fast-paced environment where you will solve a variety of challenges for our clients. You will be based at our Sagentia Innovation offices in Harston, Cambridge, with opportunities for short travel to client sites in Europe or the USA.
