About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to young individuals facing various challenges. You'll help them develop essential life skills, achieve their goals, and build positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer unwavering emotional support during difficult times.
  • Foster ambition and empower young people to reach their full potential.
  • Provide assistance with educational pursuits and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning meetings and reviews.
  • Advocate for the young people in your care, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Encourage community engagement and participation in off-site activities.
  • Contribute to a nurturing home environment by assisting with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
  • Full UK driving license is preferred but not essential.
  • No prior experience is necessary; a genuine passion for working with young people is key.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive 2-week training program.
  • Availability for sleep-in shifts is mandatory.
