Young People's Emotional Wellbeing SpecialistWe are seeking a passionate Young People's Emotional Wellbeing Specialist to play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions, guidance, and training to support the emotional wellbeing and transition of young individuals from formal mental health services.
Role Responsibilities- Provide direct therapeutic input to children and young people to enhance their emotional health and wellbeing.
- Support individuals facing emotional health challenges and facilitate positive relationships.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals and agencies to ensure quality service delivery.
- Contribute to problem-solving and seamless care pathways for young people.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for efficient service delivery.
- Engage in personal development and reflective learning.
- Hold a relevant therapy qualification with minimum years of experience.
- Collaborate effectively with mental health professionals.
- Background in social care, youth work, or related fields.
- Previous experience in supporting children and young people with emotional health needs.
- Ability to manage own caseload and knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Strong desire to assist others, with a creative and solution-focused approach.
- Experience as a looked after child or personal experience with emotional health support is valued.
- Hold a valid UK driving license with access to own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel across Essex.
