**Job Title:** Automotive Customer Oriented Engineer

**Location:** Bedfordshire

**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Interiors Engineer to join our Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer. As an Automotive Interiors Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of automotive interiors, including door, headliner, luggage trim, and console systems.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement automotive interior systems, including design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including styling, product planning, and purchase sections.
  • Conduct cost breakdown analysis and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize CAD interrogation skills to analyze and improve design.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
  • Travel globally to support project requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant degree in design or engineering.
  • Previous experience in automotive interiors development.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost analysis.
  • Proficient in CAD interrogation and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Valid driving license.
