Flexible Pipeline Engineer

At TechnipFMC, we are seeking a skilled Flexible Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our multicultural team, you will be responsible for designing flexible pipe systems, including pipe cross-section definition and subsea pipeline ancillaries' equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and identify main and critical design parameters;
- Classify requirements per dedicated design tool;
- Write technical reports linked to performed studies (design, analysis, etc.);
- Seek support from R&D department or challenge them for proposed design optimization;
- Review efficiently design reports and technical analysis from other team's engineers or other disciplines engineers in which you will interface;
- Prepare required documentation for flexible pipe and ancillaries equipment manufacturing;
- Reply clearly to internal and external clients.
As a Flexible Pipeline Engineer, you will have the opportunity to evolve on different operational activities, including Front-End Engineering, Tendering, Project, and Customer Services. You will also have the opportunity to provide support onsite in manufacturing plants, fabrication yards, or offshore on construction vessels.
Requirements:- Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical or hydrodynamic engineering;
- Fluent in French and English;
- Familiar with the Office Pack and Excel (good notions of VBA or Python programming is a plus);
- Autonomous and organized, demonstrating leadership and real decision-making abilities;
- Ability to manage priorities, working easily as part of a team with good communication skills (written and oral);
- Continuously raise standards, being innovative and solution-oriented, helping to solve complex problems;
- Based in Paris, but may need to make occasional trips abroad;
- Open-minded, willing to travel, speaking professional English;
- Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural environment;
- Committed and proactive, with a strong sense of collaboration;
- Able to make decisions and learn from every situation.
