We are seeking an experienced Employment Support Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As an Employment Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health problems to achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide employment support to service users to help them move closer to, gain, return, or stay in work.
  • Work with individuals who are unemployed and/or have challenges with their current employment.
  • Encourage and support clients to recognize the importance of productive work and its positive contribution towards their mental health.
  • Help clients plan their route towards meaningful activity and employment.
  • Create support mechanisms, liaising and engaging with Employers, Education and Training services, Employment Support Services, and Third Sector Organizations.
  • Support and advise people with mental health problems who are seeking new employment or support and advocacy within their current roles.
