Digital Communications Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Communications Officer to join our team at Lancashire Fire and Rescue. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our digital communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain our digital communications channels, including social media and website content
  • Create engaging and accessible digital content for a wide range of platforms and target audiences
  • Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver our digital communications plan
  • Provide an on-call communications service on a rota basis, requiring the ability to travel out of hours across Lancashire
Requirements:
  • Degree or professional qualification in digital communications or a related discipline
  • Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating digital communications activity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
