Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Bioconsulteurope. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including lighting installation, fault-finding, and repair.
  2. Generator Maintenance: Maintain and repair generators to ensure reliable power supply.
  3. Mechanical Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks on pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
  4. Emergency Lighting: Ensure emergency lighting systems are functioning correctly.
  5. Air Conditioning and Chillers: Maintain and repair air conditioning and chiller systems.
  6. BMS System Monitoring: Monitor and maintain Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal building performance.
  7. UPS System Monitoring: Monitor and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.

Working Hours:

  1. Monday to Friday: Work a flexible 7.5 hour shift, e.g. 07:00-15:30 or 08:00-16:30.
  2. Weekend Call-out: Be available for weekend call-outs as required.

Package:

  1. Salary: Up to £41,500 + £2,500 on-call allowance.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Electrically or mechanically qualified, City & Guilds - Level 3, City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition.
  2. Driving License: Full UK driving license.
  3. Experience: Proven track record in building maintenance.
  4. Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
  5. Multi-Skilled: Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
