Housing Solicitor Role at Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd

Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a dedicated and experienced Housing Solicitor to manage a caseload of housing law cases.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Department Director and be responsible for managing a caseload of housing work, providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of housing work, including dealing with public and private housing cases, and undertaking own advocacy
  • Assist with casework, including attending clients, taking instructions, and preparing cases
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisor following monthly file reviews
  • Ensure compliance with file management

Key Skills:

  • Valid Practising Certificate
  • Proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable clients
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded Housing work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • Extensive experience in dealing with Housing related work
  • Excellent IT Skills
