Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Negotiation and Cost Management: Negotiate costs with PD and customers to maintain a minimum target gross profit.
  • Market Analysis: Identify gaps in the market and deliver new market trends throughout the seasonal sales cycle.
  • Account Planning: Produce detailed account plans identifying areas for growth and improvement for each account.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Submit annual customer budget to the Head of Key Accounts and provide reasons for growth or decline.
  • Product Presentation: Present new ranges and unique selling points of all new developments to achieve maximum sales.
  • Order Management: Sign off customer products at all stages of order progression.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work well with other team members to develop suitable commercial product solutions for buyers.
  • Financial Acumen: Keen eye for numbers and maximizing profit.
  • Cost Negotiation: Cost negotiation skills.
  • Planning and Prioritization: Planning and prioritizing skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel.

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 17:15, with the option to work from home one day a week after completing the probationary period.
