Job Summary:

Haven Care Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our team within a specialist EBD Children's Residential Home in the Alvaston area of Derby. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Support Workers and ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Support Workers and ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to our Young People.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our Young People.
  • Ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift to ensure a smooth handover of care.
  • Complete written reports and documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent.
  • 1 year minimum working experience with Young People that may live with a Learning Disability, are Neuro-Diverse or have social and emotional difficulties, or behavior that challenges.
  • Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight.
  • Experience in leading shifts and overseeing a team of Support Workers.
