The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the production process during their shift, leading a team of operatives to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer expectations are met in full and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of colleagues to meet shift KPIs and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement
  • Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing constructive feedback
  • Dealing with day-to-day queries from colleagues and liaising with HR and training teams as required
  • Maintaining accurate records of production, food safety data, and analyzing this data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensuring that food safety and health and safety standards are met and sustainably maintained
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment
  • Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment
  • Experience in an FMCG/food manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment or distribution center environment
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse and production environments

Shift Patterns

Sunday to Wednesday - Rotating Days (7am - 7pm) and Nights (7pm - 7am) every 3 months. Rotation onto Night Shift will start from January 2025.

Wednesday to Saturday - Rotating Days (7am - 7pm) and Nights (7pm - 7am) every 3 months. Rotation onto Night Shift will start from January 2025.
